When you create an account through Google sign-in, we receive your email address and basic profile information from Clerk, our authentication provider. We also store your reading history, favorite readings, and usage quota in our database so the app works smoothly for you.
All payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We never see, store, or have access to your credit card number or billing details. Stripe may share your subscription status with us so we can activate your Pro features.
We use session cookies managed by Clerk to keep you signed in. If you use GL Destiny without an account, we store your anonymous reading quota in your browser's localStorage. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

Reading history is kept for 30 days, after which it is automatically deleted. Your account data (email, favorites, quota) is retained until you request deletion.
You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account and all associated data at any time. Just send us an email and we will take care of it promptly.
